What's New in the 2024 Jeep Gladiator

Diehl Automotive proudly presents the 2024 Jeep Gladiator, a remarkable evolution of the iconic Jeep Wrangler with a longer wheelbase and a cargo bed. Following the Wrangler's recent refresh, the Gladiator now takes center stage with a stunning makeover, both inside and out. Join us as we explore the noteworthy enhancements and features that make the 2024 Gladiator a true off-road gem.

Exterior Upgrades:

The Gladiator's exterior undergoes a captivating transformation, featuring a restyled version of Jeep's signature seven-slot grille. The grille not only boasts a visually slimmer design but also incorporates textured slots to enhance engine cooling. With the discontinuation of the optional diesel V-6, the powerful 285-hp V-6 stands as the sole powerplant, with the promise of a future 4xe plug-in-hybrid powertrain.

Additional exterior changes include a windshield-integrated antenna, eliminating concerns about trail obstacles or carwash damage. Seven new wheel designs bring a fresh look to the truck, and a new standard soft-top on the entry-level Sport trim adds a touch of sophistication.

Interior Revamp:

Inside the 2024 Gladiator, a revamped dashboard welcomes drivers with narrow horizontal vents, new soft-touch materials, and distinctive Easter egg markings representing cardinal points. The Mojave trim level introduces a new steering wheel with thumb contours and seats featuring enhanced bolstering.

The highlight of the updated interior is the horizontal 12.3-inch touchscreen, standard on every model. Replacing the previous units, this display incorporates UConnect5 software, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, improved voice commands, and backlight technology for better visibility in direct sunlight.

Adventure Features:

Embracing its off-road spirit, the Gladiator offers Jeep Adventure Guides detailing 62 trails via the navigation system. A "Follow Model" provides real-time trail information, and the Trails Offroad add-on, a subscription-based service, grants access to over 3000 trail guides.

Safety and Comfort:

For 2024, safety enhancements include side-curtain airbags in both rows, structural changes for improved side-impact performance, and second-row outboard seatbelts. The Sport S and above models now feature standard forward collision warning and adaptive cruise control.

Luxury Touches:

In a notable first, the Gladiator introduces 12-way power-adjustable front seats, tested for water fording. The Mojave X and Rubicon X models, billed as the most capable and luxurious, feature nappa leather, steel bumpers, steel rock rails, a full-time transfer case, and an integrated off-road camera.

AEV Upfit Packages:

The 2024 Gladiator offers three upfit packages from American Expedition Vehicles (AEV). The Upcountry and Upcountry+ packages include a 2.0-inch suspension lift and 35-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. The Level II package takes it to the extreme with 37-inch BFGs, a 2.5-inch suspension lift, and additional off-road enhancements.

While the pricing for the updated Gladiator is yet to be announced, Diehl Automotive anticipates slight increases across the lineup. With orders now open, the 2024 Jeep Gladiator is set to hit dealerships at the end of the year, offering enthusiasts a perfect blend of style, performance, and off-road capability. Prepare to embark on a new era of adventure with the enhanced 2024 Jeep Gladiator.
